Suzanne Seymour is a business owner, massage therapist, comedian, radio host, writer, and community leader whose career spans entrepreneurship, healthcare, entertainment, and activism.
Business and Professional Experience
In her twenties, Suzanne built a successful career with Domino’s Pizza, serving as Manager, Training Coordinator, and Franchisee. She helped launch stores throughout New England before becoming the owner of locations in Concord and Salem, NH., at the age of 24. She later founded and operated two massage therapy companies within the last 35 years: first in Massachusetts and now in Vermont, while also teaching at the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. Suzanne held leadership roles for nearly three decades within the American Massage Therapy Association, serving as President of the Vermont Chapter and helping earn the organization’s first National Innovation Award.
Creative Voice, Community Leadership
Since 2014, Suz has performed stand-up comedy throughout New England, Canada, and Europe, appearing at venues including the Flynn Space, Vermont Comedy Club, Radio Bean, The Skinny Pancake, and numerous Pride festivals. She was a Vermont Comedy Club semifinalist and founded TNT Comedy Thursdays, a popular monthly showcase in St. Albans. Suzanne served as Executive Director of the LGBT Coalition of Western MA. and as Co-Vice President of InterPride, the International Association of Pride Organizers. She is also a writer, radio host, and YouTube creator whose work blends humor, social commentary, and community engagement.
A Story of Resilience
A survivor of a serious head-on collision that nearly took her life, Suz turned her recovery into innovation — learning how to walk again and developing PTK (Physical Therapy Karaoke),a music-based rehabilitation approach designed to make recovery more engaging, uplifting, and effective. Her story of survival and second chances highlights her determination and creativity in the face of adversity.

Surviving a head-on collision offers Fairfield woman second chance at life
ST. ALBANS — The results of head-on motor-vehicle collisions are often catastrophic, yet surviving such a traumatic event has prompted one woman’s profound transformation and appreciation for second chances.
In June of 2022, Suzanne “Super Suz” Seymour was driving along route 116 in Hinesburg, when a large pick-up truck with a fully loaded trailer came around a blind corner — in her lane.
“There was no time to think, no time to do much of anything. My only thought was, ‘Is this it? Is this the moment of my death? We all wonder about the moment of our death,” says Seymour, “I definitely thought this might be my time of reckoning.”
Early Foundations
Raised in Vermont, Suz distinguished herself as a student leader. Her accomplishments include membership in the National Honor Society, serving as the Vermont Catholic Youth Council President, receiving the Ricky Fish Award as the Most Outstanding Catholic Senior in 1980, and winning the Winter Carnival Chess Championship as a seventh grader competing against high school students (she is very proud of this!).
She was actively involved in theater, chorus, All-State Band, field hockey, and music ministry—experiences that helped shape her lifelong commitment to leadership, creativity, and community service.

Throughout her life, Suz has built businesses, helped people heal, entertained audiences, and served the public. As an Independent candidate, she offers Vermonters an alternative voice grounded in real-world experience rather than career politics.
Suz believes effective representation requires practical problem-solving, independent judgment, and a willingness to listen to people from all walks of life. She is running to bring those values to Congress and to help build a stronger future for Vermont and the nation.
